“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
Satan is the king of negativity. He loves to sit in the corner of your mind booing and hissing at every thing you try to do for the glory of God. You may not recognize his voice because ventriloquism is one of his tools. He puts his negative words in your mind and mouth so they appear to be yours.
“My gift is not as good as hers.
Who do I think I am?
Someone else can do this so much better so I may as well not even try.
It’s too late for me.
People will think….
What is my effort worth in the face of so much need?
My past disqualifies me.
I need to wait till I know more.”
Meanwhile the world around you misses out. You also miss out on the joy of being used by God. Get rid of the idea that what you have to offer does not matter. It means everything to those who need it. Please don’t keep your five loaves and two fish hidden. Offer them to Jesus today. Let him decide how to use them. He will amaze you in this life and in the one to come at what He does with your talent, treasure, and time. You cannot do everything, but you can do your thing. So, by all means, my friend, do. your. precious. thing!
